Stunning Smile Transformation without Veneers

Experience a beautiful, seamless, natural-looking smile while preserving your natural tooth structure and enamel.

What is the Bioclear Method?

Bioclear is a modern cosmetic and restorative dental technique that uses injection-molded composite resin to conservatively enhance the shape, size, and appearance of teeth while preserving natural tooth structure. Unlike traditional bonding or fillings, the Bioclear Method uses specialized clear matrices to create strong, seamless restorations with a smooth, natural-looking finish. Bioclear can be used to close black triangles, repair chipped or worn teeth, reshape teeth, and improve overall smile aesthetics—often with greater durability and a more lifelike appearance than conventional composite bonding.

Is Bioclear Right for You?

Bioclear is a versatile treatment that can address a wide range of cosmetic and restorative concerns, including:

  • Black triangles between teeth caused by gum recession or bone loss
  • Unwanted spaces or gaps between teeth (diastemas)
  • Undersized, uneven, or misshapen teeth, including peg laterals
  • Worn teeth that appear short, flattened, or aged
  • Chipped, cracked, or fractured teeth
  • Silver or white fillings that are stained, rough, leaking, or affected by recurrent decay
  • Teeth that would benefit from strengthening and reshaping without extensive removal of healthy tooth structure
  • Patients seeking a conservative alternative to traditional bonding, crowns, or porcelain veneers

Why patients choose Bioclear

Natural-Looking Results

Bioclear restorations are designed to mimic the natural shape and contour of teeth. The result is a smooth, seamless restoration that blends beautifully with your smile. Each restoration is finished using Bioclear's specialized polishing sequence, creating a glossy, enamel-like surface that looks healthy, youthful, and natural.

Conservative & Minimally Invasive

One of the greatest advantages of Bioclear is its ability to preserve healthy tooth structure. Unlike crowns or veneers, Bioclear often requires little to no removal of healthy tooth structure. Bioclear restorations are also repairable and maintainable over time, making them a conservative long-term solution.

Stronger and Longer Lasting

Unlike traditional composite restorations that are built in layers, Bioclear restorations are injection molded into a single, seamless structure. This monolithic design creates a stronger, more durable restoration that resists chipping and wear. With proper home care and regular dental visits, Bioclear restorations can often last 15–20 years or longer.

Healthier Gums

Bioclear restorations are designed to support long-term oral health. By extending below the gumline and creating smooth, cleansable contours, Bioclear can help reduce food trapping and improve gum health.

What to Expect During Your Bioclear Treatment

1. Consultation & Smile Evaluation

Dr. Sheng will discuss your goals, evaluate your teeth and gums, and determine whether Bioclear is the best treatment option for your smile. Together, you'll review your concerns and create a personalized treatment plan.

2. Cleaning & Preparation

A special solution is applied to highlight plaque and biofilm that may be invisible to the naked eye. These deposits are then gently removed using an ultra-fine air polishing system, creating a clean surface for a strong, long-lasting restoration.

3. Matrix Placement & Injection Molding

A clear, custom-selected matrix is placed around the tooth and slightly below the gumline. Warmed composite resin is then injected into the matrix, creating a strong, seamless restoration that wraps around the tooth and blends naturally with your smile.

4. Smile Sculpting & Polishing

The matrix is removed, and the restoration is carefully shaped and polished. The result is a smooth, glossy finish that looks natural, feels comfortable, and supports healthy gums.
